How do we register for the parade?
All units participating in the holiday parade MUST pre-register online at: Registration for the Holiday Parade

Where will parade participants line up?
Parade units will be lined up on South 6th Street, in the Marble Park parking lot and, if necessary on Grant Street. NOTE: Registered participants will receive an email before the event with individual line up number and parade day instructions.

Are there any decorating requirements?
All entries (aside from those that cannot) should include some sort of holiday lighting and be appropriate for viewing by all ages. The rest is up to you and your imagination.

Will parade units be allowed to broadcast music?
Yes! The performing/broadcasting of holiday music is encouraged. However, in an effort to enhance the viewing experience for spectators and offer a variety of entertainment, we’d prefer to not have the same song(s) be duplicated by multiple units. Song choices should be indicated on parade registration form and will be approved by the parade committee based on who reserved their chosen song first.

Will Santas be allowed in the parade?
While holiday themed costumes are encouraged, no parade entry will be permitted to have someone dressed in a full Santa or Mrs. Claus costume, or try to portray themselves as such. One single chamber-sponsored entry at the end of the parade will feature Santa (and possibly Mrs. Claus). This policy is important to show consideration for children (and their parents) who still believe in Santa and might be confused by seeing multiple Santas in a parade.
